I am a husband and father to two boys.

I sold Fords. (Don't hate me Chevy people.)

I sold cancer insurance door to door.

I currently sell durable graphic overlays.

I have a degree in biochemistry.

I went inside the Great Pyramid in Egypt.

But all that is just the tip of the iceberg for me.

Let me bring you up to speed on how I got to where I am today.

While walking the dog, I listened to a Grant Cardone podcast one cold November morning in 2020. During the episode, he brought up for the hundredth time that you needed assets that produce cash flow. He was primarily speaking about real estate. I didn't think much of it because I had no money to invest. So I shrugged it off, finished the walk, and got ready for work.

Then, life threw me a lifeline...

While getting ready for work, I saw an ad on Facebook for a book called The Iceberg Effect. That ad wasn't the first time I'd seen it. But this ad was the first I clicked to find out more. It was a "free" book. I just had to pay to ship it. I didn't buy it at that time. Later that day, I got hit with a retargeting ad that spoke directly to me. It was the same image as in the previous ad. But the author had aged himself in the photo. The post said something to the effect, 'I'm going to get old before you get my book.

I laughed out loud.

And if this guy could be this creative for a free book, there has to be some gold behind what he is selling. So I got the book.

That is when the wheels started the turn. The concept was slowly taking shape in my mind. I had been trying to figure out how to sell things online. But I never quite got the ideas down. I didn't know I needed a list, and I didn't know how to get a list. And then it hit me. I needed to give something away for free to build a list.

As simple as it sounded, it was a lot of work. I had to learn about email marketing. So I bought a course. It was good but not great. Then, I had to learn about writing copy. So, I purchased a study guide that came with a free scriptwriter. It was good but not great. Then, after visiting all those sites. I started to get ads from my current mentor, Russell Bunson.

Now, I'm driving 100 mph in the fast lane, learning everything I can about direct response marketing, copywriting, and building a digital agency to help home service businesses attract their ideal client and make more sales.

The books I have read, and courses I have taken are teaching me so many secrets and making me mad simultaneously. They are making me mad because of how simple these concepts are, and I should have been implementing these concepts years ago. I wasted five years of my life punching a time clock and grinding it out on a car lot after college 70 hrs a week only to make $65,000 a year.

It has been an amazing journey, and I have had many epiphanies. The lessons I have been taught for the amount of money I have invested in myself are worth more than the $60,000 college degree.

But I want to take all that I have learned and share it with the world to help them overcome the barriers that I faced getting to where I am today.

I am looking to give my family freedom and the life they deserve. My life goal is not to have to work for a boss and do what he or she says. Growing up, I've always had a problem with authority. The chip on my shoulder has been there for years. That was because I didn't particularly appreciate being told what to do. Working with who I want for how long and wherever I wish has been my dream for years.

I know I'm not the only one who feels this way. You must feel this way, too, or you wouldn't be reading this blog right now.

But that's a story for another day...
