Figuring out how to make money by stacking in-demand skills was something I barely thought of doing until I hit rock bottom selling cars. It was November of 2020. The election had just wrapped up, and the country was in a political shitstorm and a health crisis. It also didn't help Ford had cut back on all the incentives, and traffic had dried up to nothing.

I finished the month with six cars that barely covered my draw. It was a pretty disheartening time. Even though I had all this sales training. With no traffic to the store, what I knew didn't matter. I wouldn't be able to feed my family.

That's when I got serious about creating digital assets that produced income while I slept.

It started with an email marketing course from Lurn.com. The education was priceless. It gave me the foundation to structure the follow-up to my free lead magnet. It's sad to say, but the original Lurn program has dissolved, so I've taken what I learned from them, boiled it down to the most essential parts, and put them in this course here.

However, after I finished the original Lurn courses, my problem was figuring out where to put my lead magnet on display and how to construct an offer around it to make it more desirable. I was also required to learn how to write sales copy.

That's when I started seeing ads for the One Funnel Away Challenge program.

Russell Brunson's one funnel away challenge put every piece of the puzzle in place and taught me how to properly market online and follow up with direct email marketing.

Before I jumped into the deep end of digital marketing, I was an average car guy grinding out 60 hrs a week with a two-hour daily commute for middle-class life that was beating me down.

I missed family events and quality time with my boys, and the strain on my marriage had me contemplating divorce more times than I ever should have.

When I finally took the plunge. Things started to turn around. I made incredible connections and grew my network tenfold.
As Grant taught me. "Your network is your net worth."

I had to give up a lot of things for this to happen. Sleep was one of them.

After I put the boys to bed, I'd spend about 2 hrs a night working on the one funnel away challenge. Completing each step to create my product, structure my offer, draft my email sequences, and build my landing page.

During the day, I had to build my social media page and produce content to prepare my dream customers for my launch.

It was a lot!

However, the step-by-step method allowed me to eat the elephant one bite at a time.

Now that I have taken the plunge and completed the One Funnel Away Challenge, digital marketing is much less scary. I am building digital assets that will produce passive income for me and leave a legacy for my children.

Learning how to become an effective marketer teaches me valuable skills that I, too, can see to increase my income exponentially.

It's been a wild journey with lots of ups and downs...
